Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just wanted to invite y'all to stop by and say hi if you are ever in Mid-Missouri. We are workampers at a small, private campground that sits right on the Missouri River. The Katy Trail runs right by us, too, so if you love to bike, the trail runs through some beautiful countryside.
The campground officially reopens April 1, but we've been here all winter. We just survived the blizzard last week - I don't remember ever dealing with 19 inches of snow.
Anyway, look us up at Katfish Katy's Campground (http://www.katfishkaty-campground.com) if you're traveling through. The sunsets are gorgeous!

Thanks for the info, we may be passing by this way on our way back to Iowa. I love to ride the bike trails and we haven't had a chance to ride the Katy trail yet. Going to add this to my list of possibilities for the spring. Thanks

Where are you? it would be great to meet you! This campground has basically everything you need - just not in great quantities . . . except for the Missouri River - what an amazing view. As soon as the weather warms up enough (probably May) we have a live blues jam session and barbeque here every Sunday afternoon. Local musicians just show up - jam all afternoon - we barbeque burgers & brats - and you get to enjoy it all under the shade trees on the riverbank. It's a wonderful way to relax!
JanieD - you will find some of the most beautiful scenery on the Katy Trail . . .along the Missouri River - bluffs and fields and shaded trails --- absolutely one thing that really really works in Missouri! Hope you'll check it out here!
