Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Might be time to change tag line

I think it may be time to change my tag line. Still have the F250, but have on order a 2011, Crossroads Cruiser CF305SK, nearly 33 feet long, 3 slides, lots of insulation, big holding tanks.  However now the bad news, we are both still (hide your eyes, you know what's coming) WORKING.  That makes it hard to get away and use it as much as we would like, but that will change some day as well.  We will start out just doing the weekend  thing and eventually work into extended stay when we feel the time is right. No plans to full time, to much sentimental stuff for my DW passed down from her family, and I completely understand and am quite content to stay out a few weeks/months at a time. Hope to catch up with some of you fine people someday.

Well, Robert.  I think most of us start that way.  Our first camper was a TT about 15 feet long.  The next one was 21', followed by a 26' TT then a 26' fifth wheel.  As you probably know, we now have the Mobile Suites and F450.

For many a year, our vacations were no longer than 1 week, with not all 7 days being spent in the mountains.  In 2009, we finally decided to spend 2 weeks somewhere in the mountains, and Jo insisted that if we were gonna be up there that long, she wanted HOOKUPS.

That is when we discovered the 26' fifth wheel was way too small for spending much time in.  The joyous thing is that you now have a better one yourself, and will be on the way to enjoying the RV thing more often.

Hang in there on the working.  We are still as well.

Congratulations on the order.

Terry

Congrats Flyone on your Cruiser on order! We have a Crossroads 5th Wheel too stated as a 33' ...ours only has 2 slides...but it's quite lovely with plenty of space and comforts. Have fun....we too are doing the weekend thing and getting ready in a month for an extended trip (for 4 weeks!)
