Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're planning to stay in the Phoenix area near the end of February for about a month. Does anyone have a recommendation of a reasonably priced, quiet place to stay. We don't need a resort with tons of activities, but would like someplace with full hook-ups.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Just outside of Phoenix in a town called Buckeye is the Leaf Verde RV park. I have stayed here and highly recommend it. Not real fancy, but reasonably priced and very nice people run it. It's in a good area and near shopping.
Look it up on www.rvparkreviews.com and you will see that other people like it as well. Hope you enjoy Phoenix.

Just south of downtown Phoenix is Tempe. A few months ago we stayed at a nice park called Apache Palms RV Park. Right outside the entrance is the light rail station and you can be in downtown in about 40 minutes. Nice neat clean park, quiet, small pool and hot tub. Enjoy Phoenix, there's a lot to do and see.
We spend a week at Leaf Verde RV Resort 1500 S Apache Rd Buckeye AZ 85326 (623)386-3132

It is on the west side of Phoenix and very near all the good stuff like Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel, etc., etc. Traffic around there was fine. No big deal. Nice laundry, 50 “good” amps, full hookup, very clean, organized and was very quiet. Close to but not on I-10.It’s pretty big with not much of an “it factor” as such but had exactly what we needed including a great Verizon connection. The tower is “right there.”This is the desert and we enjoyed the week there while on a Mission Trip in October.
