Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well, that is if we can get a break in the weather to leave Goshen, Indiana!
For those who have been wondering, this is our job line-up.
We have accepted work at Lake Paradise Resort in Lone Jack, MO. It is fairly near Kansas City.
I will be working on the special project of social media marketing. Cool, eh?
What will Dave be doing? Um . . . riding the bike!
We may look for other work in the community or perhaps take on other duties at the resort. That part remains to be seen.
At any rate, it is for whenever we can mange to get there through October of next year.
We are excited and looking forward to being part of the Lake Paradise team!
Cheers, Betty

Great to hear you'll be on your way in your "renewed" home! I know that you'll have a ball with everything working and feeling good! Good luck in your new assignment!!
Keep warm! Just checked the site and their weather map says it is at freezing point.

Paul, it was in the hight 20's in Jacksonville, FL and predicted to be so for another five days. Right now much of the country is below the freezing point.

Glad to hear you are getting your home back and everything worked out. Travel safely and take your time. While we are about 150 miles west of you, I have not heard of the place your going to. Looked it up and will have to add to my list of places to stay. Our youngest baby lives in the western suburbs of KC so it would be a good place to stay and visit her. Make sure to get some good KC BBQ!!

I lived in the KC area for over ten years and, despite what others from around the country might say ... there is nothing better than KC BBQ!
My mouth is just WATERING!
