Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I am in need of service on my motor home. I have several items on my fix-it list, most of which is normal stuff. But I have a slide out issue that may be a major issue. Does anyone have a recommendation for a central Texas (that being a 50 miles radius around Austin) RV service company? I would prefer one that has the capability to mainly service motor homes, has excellent customer service, and one that you have actually been a customer of.
Thank you in advance.

I don't have a suggestion close to Austin. We've been using Bob Jones RV Repair in South Houston. They're the best we found around. If you find anyplace closer to Austin that does a good job let us know. We'd love a closer repair shop!

http://www.rvservicereviews.com/ We have used this site a lot and we are encouraging all of the people out there to use it as well. What makes it work is that you determined the fate of the company in that if they do a good or poor job and at a fair price. when ever we used it we made a report on the site. Happy travels to all and don't worry where the next fix is coming from.

Fred, thanks for the link to the service review site. Anyone in the Lafayette, LA in need of repairs call Gauthier's RV, they do an excellent job and are very courteous. They are at the Ambassador Caffery exit 100.
