Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Our First Gig.

Well looks as though we have our 1st work-camping gig lined up for next summer. We got a call Saturday from the owners of a Rv campground in Custer SD. after the interview we were asked to join their team. Sharon and I decided today if the offer was still on the table we would give it a go.
Our house is still on the market. With winter here and the economy being the way it is, we are not expecting much to happen. If we do not get a sale before May we will summerize our property and head for SD and have fun anyway.

Congratulations on your first workamper experience. Hopefully the housing market will pick up in your area and the house will sell soon.

Congrats on your first workkamping gig...........Custer, SD an amazing place especially in the summer.

Wait til you see how the area "swells" with Sturgis Rally in August! Fantastic riding out that way.

Keep in touch, look forward to hearing about your experience.

Well like you, we have landed our first gig for next summer. And, our house has not sold even tho it has been on the market since March 15th. But, we're going anyway.

We have made the decision to let a property management group see if they can lease it and which ever happens first is the way we are going - sale or lease. The leasing company will take care of everything if they are the winner so we will be free to travel like we desire.

Wish you much luck.

Judy
