Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

30 minutes of wonderful...than a whole lifetime of nothing special

Hi, New to posting but not new to this site.  Time to join the fun.  We are Mike and Janice and are recent snowbirds hoping to graduate to fulltiming.  We are from beautiful, sunny, and warm ND(how deceiving will that statement be in a couple months)  We headed south two winters ago and enjoyed a wonderful month and half in the sw.  Not quite enough planning but were ready last year.  Spent a month in Lake Havasu and another in Tucson.  What can I say........we loved every minute!  We, like others here, have some of that gypsy in us and are ready to get rid of all the "stuff" and move on down the road.  We have a small mh and trailer(motorcycle home and man garage) that will take us where the road leads.  Lots of interests including rc planes, motorcycle riding, woodworking, computers, crocheting, cooking, and photography.
I also want to write a quick note of thanks for this great website.  I use a couple others but this one has them all beat!  Cannot believe soo many nice people all in one place :)

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  Home of lots of folks doing and planning a whole new lifestyle.  Since you are now registered to post, we look forward to your questions and comments.  Never worry if you think a question may have already been asked, but go ahead and ask it.  You never know when your question may put the subject into a different perspective.

Have fun with the dream.....

.....and the reality.  As long as life is, it is good.

Terry

Hi Janni and Welcome!

It really is a great bunch of people here -- warm, friendly and very helpful. Sometimes they are even funny wink.gif

Where in ND do you hail from? I'm originally from Velva, ND. My mom and brother and his family still live there.

Looking forward to getting to know you and yours,

Carol

Thanks for the nice welcome.  Carol, we are from one of the places in the United States with no unemployment, Williston ND.  I lived in Minot for a couple years so am familiar with the Velva area.  Looking forward to posting and getting to know you all.
