Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We had a mighty blow and thunderstorm with torrential rain this afternoon.
Much needed, much appreciated; however...
I discovered a drip in the bedroom (right over my side of the bed, naturally) at a seam in the ceiling.
Not a gusher but must have been dripping pretty good.
Comforter has a nice round soggy spot but sheets and mattress dry.
Now it could have been just the angle of the wind (gusts up around 40-45) and the literally torrential rain and may never happen again...but...
Guess DH will have to get up on the roof and check it out.
Nuts. We do keep in mind, however, that as well-made as any RV might be, it is still not a stix-n-brix.
Cheers...

Best of luck dealing with this frustration. I've spent a bunch of time and $ chasing leaks in mine. Hope its an easy fix. Good thing is that its pretty dry in Benson.
Oh no - don't want to hear this. Do hope in this case you bought the extended warranty as Keystone warranty is only good one year from original purchase.
Have it looked as ASAP Please. My cousin was camping last weekend and when outside heard a loud crash inside. They have a Class C. The overhead bunk collasped. What they found was water had leaked in rotting the structure and leaving mold between ceiling and roof. Luckily it happened during day and not when their son was sleeping in it.
I have had leaks where the rain was hitting so hard and wind blowing so hard, it must have lifted the roof vent slightly and there were drips coming down from the roof vent.
In Missouri, in very high humidity (it seemed like 145%) and 70+ degree heat, condensation formed around the A/C vents bad enough that it was dripping throughout the 5th wheel during the night.

It's raining in Wisconsin, too. The heat and humidity are supposed to break on Sunday.
It's a bummer your roof leaked. We also have leaks. The bedroom slide and kitchen slide both leak. It appears to be the windows, but we're not sure. It doesn't happen every time it rains. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.
Our warranty expired in October so we are definitely having this taken care of. We have an appointment on Aug. 25 to have the leaks fixed and our awning fabric replaced (it has been tearing).
Hopefully, all of our leaks will be easily repaired. From what others have said, leaks are more common than I'd like to think
Stay cool!!
