Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Our Future Home !!!!

We are so excited biggrin  We have placed our order for our 2011 Keystone Montana 3400RL.  We should be able to pick it up in 6 weeks.  We have looked for so long and have looked at so many models.   We are so excited to take this step towards our dream.  We will hopefully be moving into it full time on November 1st.  Our daughter is going to move into our home and eventually buy it from us.  We are going to move the trailer to some good friends that have a couple of acres.  We are going to stay there and try it for a few months at least till the snowbirds go home, but if it works we may just stay with them.  Our goal is still 3 years. We have to pay off the trailer and the rest of the truck before we can go.
I know we are both a little scared as this is a very big step but we know that it is the right step and look forward to many more in that direction.  Thanks to Howard and Linda again for all they do. What a great influence, and thanks to all of our dream family for your support.

John and Terri

You sure did pick a great model. We had considered the 3400 but went with the 3455.

Congrats!

Oh BTW, what color did you choose? We have the Mocha. I see the 2011 has the same bedspread, valances, flooring etc as our 2009.

Congratulations on a terrific rig!  You sure did pick a beauty!

Of course, I am slightly prejudiced...

We have an '09 Montana, Model 3585SA and really love our home.  We've been full-time since late June this year.

Enjoy moving into your new home!!

Cheers!

Thanks to everyone !!!!!!

phyllen  - we also went with the Mocha color.  There really isn't much difference between the 2010 and 2011 models.  One thing they did improve was the exterior hatch latches.  They finally put the good latches on.

We also looked at the 3555SA but the DW really like the closet just inside the door where the washer and dyer will go if and when we get one.

We will have plenty of time to move in and get it the way we want it before we hit the road.

Thanks again to everyone.

Thanks again to all for the congrats.... we can't wait to get the new rig and start packing.  We are in the process of cleaning out the S & B  right now and are planning on having a hugh yard sale sometime in September, just before we get our new home.  It is amazing how much stuff one can have after living in a home for 22 years.  Oh well, all just part of the excitment.  Thanks again and we will let everyone know when we get it.
