Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We Have a Job!

The owner of the park today happened to mention to Dave this morning we could do some work around here to knock off some of the rent.  "Send your wife to come talk to me."

Went down to visit with him and in return for mowing/weedeating/weeding/keeping the trees/plants irrigated and cleaning the bathrooms (and probably just helping out in general) he will give us our site rent-free.

S W E E T !!!

Didn't I tell you that I believe everything happens for a reason?

We don't even have to move an inch!  We'll start tomorrow.  Today is a lazy play/rest day.

We are grateful and actually looking forward to working around here.  Turn me loose with a mower and a field and I'm one happy gal.

Thank you, Universe, for looking out for us.

Thank you to our RV-Dreams family for also looking out for us with words of support and encouragement and employment leads.  Hopefully I will be able to return the favor at some point in the future.

Great to here you have a stop gap deal.  There are lots of places to visit in the area where you are.  I traveled that area for 2 years but it was in 1969 and 70.  There are many places that have not changed for sure.  I'll try to go back in my memory and send you a list  of my favorite spots.  You may find you like the Show Me State.  Best of Luck there. Bob

Congratulations!   I certainly believe that things happen for a reason.  Have a wonderful 1st time workamping experience. I hope that I can do so well when I can be out there too.  Hopefully next year.

Susan

I've alway been a firm believer that "things happen for a reason".
Happy to hear that things worked out for the best.
