Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

House gone

The house is finally sold.
We finalized our sale yesterday and have agreed upon a July 16 date of transfer.
Lots of stress to get out, our 2 daughters have taken stuff as well as friends and relatives.the charity truck comes on the 14 th to take what we don't want to store in the pod.
Adeline and I have dreamed of this for some time, but it took longer then we hoped to sell the house.
I think someone above helped us reach our goals. We both hope to meet many new friends on our travels in canada and in the USA.
We've also have hosted some international students from Brasil,Germany and Mexico
and all of these wonderful young students have become like our second daughters. Now we can do our promised visits.

Adeline and I will see you soon,in our journeys, and THANKS for letting us read your forum for the past couple of years.

If your waiting for your dream, it will come. Just be patiant

Congratulations on selling your house.  I'm trying to be patient.  It will be a while before I can follow. Hopefully next year.  Take care and enjoy the ride.

Congratulations! We too are waiting the dream. Our house has been on the market for 4 months come July 15th. We have only had 3 people look at it and one of those was yesterday. About two weeks ago we lowered the price $5,000 and that hasn't seemed to help any. We are now living in o ur RV in a campground near the house so we can keep it clean and they can show it at a moments notice. Hopefully that will help. We got 45 minutes on the showing yesterday.

We're praying hard for help from the "man upstairs" but I guess he isn't ready yet.

Hope you joy your new adventure as you start out.

Judy (and Bob)

Congrats on selling the house.  We've been on the road 7 months and have not looked back.  We hope to meet up with you on the road.  We're in Indiana in a few different parks till Sept 17.  If nearby, stop by and give us a hollar.

Congratulations on the sale of your house!! That is a HUGE step! How you have the fun of purging, packing and throwing stuff out. We started full-timing in August 2009 (almost a year ago) and it is a wonderful life! Good luck to you all.
