Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Finally starting my blog

After following so many Dreamers and their journey, I have finally started my own blog.  For me it is a big step, first to actually put thoughts down in writing for the whole world to see and second, (and maybe more important) it is a commitment to myself that this really what I want to enrich the time I have left on this planet.

I will try to post often to keep track of where I have been and my journey to my future.  I hope to retire from my current employment in February 2011 or anytime after that.  I too like so many others have to wait until I can sell my home.  It may be tough because it is an older mobile home, and any buyers will have to qualify to live in this park.

This is all new for me, definitely a learning experience.

Thank you in advance for anyone that has an interest to read.

Susan

Good luck to you selling. George's property is on the market for 6 months now, no nibbles. Mine goes on the market this week. It's a long journey!

Nice blog :)

Great Blog!  Welcome to the blogging world.  We'll keep our fingers crossed in getting your place sold.  Don't give up the dream, if you ever think it's too much just come in here.  That's where we got a lot of encouragement, help and calmness.

To all the Dreamers,

Thank you all for your comments and support.  I know that this is the place to get that support.  I look forward to being out there with like minded people, but until then I will just enjoy the ride, no matter how long it takes.  The one good thing is that for every month that it takes, the more money goes into the RV savings account.  I know that I will need every penny to  support the Dream.  Best of luck to all.

Great start! smile You're right. a blog can be an excellent way to keep track of your journey into full-timing.

We kept some notes, but I wish we would have had blogs back when we started.
