Our Turn for a Hiccup! - RV-Dreams Community Forum

Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

At least I hope it's only a hiccup. You may have seen our earlier post that we sold our S&B in 5 days!! The OMG OMG OMG post! We were supposed to close on June 4th, but the reviewer at the bank didn't like the comp houses the appraiser used, so have to wait for another appraiser to get one done. The buyer asked for a 2 week extension which we, of course, agreed to. The comps he used were slab houses, about 1/2 the SF as ours. We have finished basement and a HUGE yard. I can understand why the reviewer didn't like them. Anyway, we had everything worked out to close on the 4th, get our check and pay for and pick up the new MS weekend of the 11th. Now DH will have to go by himself on the 19th! I have a temp job from year to year at a big music festival and that is the weekend before the event...NO WAY will I be able to go. We've been living in the old (very small) 5er for 6 weeks now and was hoping to get into our real 5er home next weekend. Sooooo, will unload most of what we have in current 5er into my car and load into new one when he gets back. Doris
