Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Albasini RV Adventure

I know so many of you have sent us emails requesting that we start up our blog again.  While we were stationed in Tampa for a while there just didn't seem to be enough interesting news to warrant posting..... but we are thrilled to tell you that we will be going back on the road fulltime from Friday and hve started up our blog again this week.
For those who have not followed us before our website is:
www.mytripjournal.com/AlbasiniRVAdventure - it also has a couple of South African trips and safari's plus an Alaskan summer thrown into the mix.... just to keep it interesting.  But back to our 1st love... Rving - we're looking forward to the road ahead......  AGAIN!!!  Hopefully we will get to meet many of you down the road...

As many of you know, we are ex-South Africans and go back for visits almost every year. Each year we like to take an American couple with us to show them the country of our heritage and to experience an African safari. As Tony was a Game Ranger in South African National Parks for many years and we lived in the parks, bringing our children up in the wild for all those years, and knowing the bush very intimately. With each trip back it is very imperative that we spend most of our time on safari among the animals and the bush that is part of our hearts and souls.
This year we have the pleasure of being able to take 2 couples with us. Howard and Linda and also Ed & Marilyn Dray.
We all write blogs - and will all be posting about our South African experience. Ours from a standpoint of where we have lived, worked and loved, with a depth of knowledge of what makes the African bushveld so special and theirs through "new eyes, wonder and new experiences" .... we look forward to sharing all our adventures with you!! We do ask for your patience as we will not have internet connectivity in the bush but will be writing daily and posting to the blog whenever we are able.
So, we invite you to join us on this wonderful adventure!!
