Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have been following the RV-Dreams Journal for quite awhile now and thought I should join this forum.
Currently we are living/working/traveling with a carnival in the Pacific Northwest. This week the carnival is in Sequim, WA on the Olympic Pennisula.
This week we had some motor home problems: we lost our drive shaft after pulling away from a stop light on the way to Sequim in the town of Suquamish. We have spent the last two nights in the mechanics driveway while waiting for the yoke to arrive by UPS sometime today. Del, has hooked us up to power while we are here and a friend from the carnival loaned us his car (we don't have a toad vehicle) to get back and forth from the motor home to the carnival bone yard (that is where we all park our rigs at each location).
If you want to follow along on our journey, check out my blog at www.ali1257.blogspot.com
I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Ali & Ron! Welcome! You are not very far from us right now. My wife Heidi and I are in Port Angeles for a few more weeks. Sorry to hear about the trouble with your motorhome! Sounds like you have things under control already, but if you do need anything else with it, Eric's RV in Sequim has always been excellent to us! Heading to check out your blog now :)
We will be in Sequim till Sunday sometime. The carnival is finished tomorrow night sometime between 5 and 9 with tear down following.
We then are going to Port Townsend. The carnival runs there Thursday through Saturday.
Thanks for the heads up about the place in Sequim. Hopefully we won't need it.
Del, the guy in Suquamish was very good and reasonably priced. He had no problem allowing us to stay in our motor home while he did the repairs and waited for parts. He hooked us up to electricity for the two nights we were there.
I will check out your website too. I always like to read what others are doing. Hope you enjoyed my blog.
