Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Has anyone traveled into Canada with a pet in your vehicle. What are the restrictions regarding your pets. I wouldn't want to get there and not be able to bring her back to the US with me. She is our baby.
All you need is a current rabies tag and certificate. 1 year rabies vaccine seems to go over better than the 3 year version. Much of the time they don't even ask for the rabies info, but have it ready.

We read somewhere that you need a curent health certificate but when we got to maine last summer and checked with a vet who was up with the latest requirements and found that all that was needed was a current rabies certificate. We were not even asked if we had a pet when we went across to Canada and back to the US but we legal in case we were asked

We have crossed the border with our pets in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia and have never been asked to show our rabies tags or certificates, even though we always carry them with us.
