Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Is there, on the market one that is suitable for use in a TT? We just purchased an EVERGREEN 31RLS TT that has two lounge chairs and I thought that a stable table/stand could accomodate my laptop and possibly the printer underneath.
Months ago I bought two at...would you believe...the local dollar store. Each is suitable for a laptop; however, there is not much room for a mouse. At any rate, they were at a great price. The top can be adjusted to be flat or tilted and the height raised or lowered. They are lightweight and, yes, we will be taking them!
Again, not pricey and not fancy but they get the job done.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to brag on my husband and didn't want to start a new thread.
My DH is making me a table for the RV. It will be 24” X 24”, on casters, and 26” high. I will be able to use it for my laptop, putting on my makeup, or whatever I need. I can move from the recliner, couch, or even outside if I want. We’ll just put it upside down on the bed when we travel.I'll post pictures when it's done. He's so creative! I'm so blessed!

Mine isn't quite this elaborate, but then it doesn't take up any existing wall space and cost about $25 to make. I love that I can move it around the RV to anywhere I need it, including outdoors if the ground is level and smooth. And, the legs can be unscrewed and it can be easily stored to get it completely out of the way if needed. As soon as he gets it painted I'll post a picture. Very simple, but exactly fits the bill.

Just before we took off on our maiden cruise with our new EVERGREEN TT I found a "typing table" at an office supply store, thanks for the tip TX YELLOW Rose. It is wide enough and has folding sizor type legs so it is very easy to fold flat and store. It is even height adjustable. I store it by merely laying across the seats of the two lounge chairs. Bingo. I put the laptop in it's traveiling case. On our 4 month trip it worked great. We head to Texas, Canton this week for the big TEXAS SWING FESTIVAL. Then some site seeing.
I love all the tables - I can't wait to see pictures of the homemade one too! I think right now I want a homemade wood version of the tubular metal one - fabulous design! How sad - if we got that we would never eat dinner at the table again! Heidi
I got to thinking about the tables I recommended and am not sure that they would work will with the EURO style chairs that are in many of the RVs. The round base on these chairs would probably get in the way of the table's feet. @Terry/Gail. I too remember bellying up to a yummy TV meal while watching Gunsmoke. With your free flashlights, you can now eat in the dark.
