Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
While we still own a home for 3 more nights we officially started living in the 5'ver, our first night as full timers. Our bedroom furniture was picked up yesterday along with the livingroom furniture. We close on the house March 31 at 2pm. I retire from the FD June 30th but with vacation my last shift will be April 30th. May 1st we head out for Florida to watch the launch and landing of the space shuttle. From there we will head North.
Congratulations on leaving the nest and starting your adventure!
Thank you, too, for your service in the Fire Department. My uncle was a fireman for many years here in Texas. He can tell some stories....
How exciting to be headed to Florida for the shuttle launch and landing. What an experience to remember for a lifetime!
Dave and I will be making the jump to full-time life in early July, headed to work at a KOA in Wisconsin for the summer. We hope to land a gig in the South for the Fall and Winter.
Exciting times!
Wishing you peaceful, safe and awesome journeys!

Congratulations and we will be following your blog to see all your adventures. Watching the Shuttle launch would be really cool. Isn't this the last one before they are all retired?

Thanks everyone, jannieD this will be the last year for the space shuttle program. Charles, we will be in J-ville area (Atlantic Beach) visiting my brother, Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park most likely.
While Betty (TxYellowRose) said it first, thanks for your service to your community.
Congratulations on the sale and (very soon) going full time. I am envious. While our Mobile Suites is on order, we will be "static" fulltimers once our house sells.
Good luck in your travels, and be safe and happy.
Terry

Congratulations John and Bridget. We pray Gods' blessings on your fulltime adventures. I believe you will really love living in your Mobil Suites trailer. I know you have looked forward to this for a long time. Safe travels and hope to see you down the road.
