Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Decisions are Made

Well things are coming together real fast for our full timing dreams. We put the house on the market 1 week before Christmas and it sold in 4 days. We had our estate sell last week of January and sold most of everything we own. We are now in an apartment getting ready to downsize some more into our current travel trailer the first part of April.

Now last week we bought a new Ford F450 and ordered our new home, a 2010 Mobile Suites 38Rssb3 which will be delivered towards the end of May. Then the last thing to sell will be our travel trailer and we will be free to move about the country.

Excited and scared at the same time, so we come here often to read words of encouragement and common sense advice given to others that help us avoid some of the pitfalls. Thanks to every one that participates on these forums. Even the ones that do not post much but lurk like we do have learned invaluable information.

Great news Dave and Maxine!!  Looks like things are really coming together for the both of you.  Sounds like a real nice setup with the F450 & the 2010 Mobile Suites 38Rssb3.  Enjoy the moment and the anticipation of fun times ahead.

Wow!! Things are really moving fast for you!!! We have friends that have almost the same RV/tow vehicle setup as you have and are really pleased with the combination.

The emotions you are experiencing are normal. This is a big step in your life and the unknown is sometimes a little scary. However, we feel it's a great lifestyle and wouldn't want to go back to living in a stix and brix again.

Good luck, maybe we'll meet up somewhere down the road. smile

Sounds like things are moving along well for you.  Good luck on your full timing adventure.  We are fairly close neighbors as we live near Angola.  We are planning a trip to the southwest starting next week but probably will not ever be full time.
