Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Moving into new Cameo

We took delivery on a 2010 Cameo 36FWS and now we are in the process of moving in.  We have been in a campground for a week which is about 10 miles from our S&b.

The moving in has been easy up to this point.  We will be taking the unit back to the dealer next Friday for a minor fix and an add-on.  From there we will be taking a very relaxing trip to the Rally.  A twelve hour trip over a week and half! Great way to travel and smell the roses too.

Our house goes on the market April 19th and we are hoping for a quick sale.  It's time to take the next step in our dream.

Can't wait to meet many of you at the Rally.

Welcome Wayne and Sherry,
Looking forward to meeting you at the rally.  Cameo is an excellent unit and very popular.  Sounds like you are going to be taking your time getting to the rally.  Good practice for the future.  Enjoy the moment!

Wayne and Sherry,

Welcome to the Carriage family, there's quite a few of us on this group. If you're not aware of it, there is a very active Yahoo discussion group that you might want to consider also joining, it's at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Carriage_RV/

There are over 1600 members and it's a great place to get Carriage specific questions answered and to share tips.

Good luck,

Congratulation on getting the Carriage.  We bought the same unit in Dec 2009 and have just got on the road with it.  We came to Florida from NC to take the Dick Reeds RV driving class then going back  to SC to the rally.

You'll love the RV.  We would love to see how you have yours setup. We added the generator and dual pane windows.  The winter in NC was brutal this year, but we learned a lot by getting it before spring.

See you in a few days!

Dee
