Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm not much of a poster, but Dee wanted me to tell everyone our good news. Today I'm officially retired. That's the last hurdle to becoming real full timers. It's hard to believe our dream of full time RV living is actually coming true. I say "coming" true because we won't feel like we're fully living the dream until we get on the road and meet up with our wonderful family of RV Dreamers. We've been living here in a "Mobile Home/RV Park" for the last couple of months. I want to thank all of you for your great support the past few years as Dee and I planned our dream. Especially Howard and Linda. We've learned so much from your blog! Thanks for being our online mentors. We hope to meet up with you in Florida before you leave that area. To everyone else, your encouragement, kind thoughts, suggestions, tips, and overall good will has been a blessing. The RV world is truly made up of the best people on earth. So watch out... Tumbleweed is coming to an RV park near you. Cheers! Jim (Tumbleweed 1)

Congratulations. Now start heading south. It is not as warm here in Florida as it normally is this time of year, but it is warmer than North Carolina. Here in Silver Springs it is about an hours drive to Daytona, which we did on Monday to meet up with others for lunch.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. If you are like me, retirement will be another life learning experience. I learned a lot about what I had been missing and given up to have the life style I thought I wanted. It was certainly an eye opening and life broadening experience for me.
