Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We've been lurkers for quite a while, but we look forward to going to the Rally in April so we thought we'd better get chatty. We've been camping for a few years but plan to go fulltime in the Fall on 2011 when I retire. We just started a blog http://wanderingsylville.blogspot.com/ . We look forward to meeting a lot of you at the Rally and on the net.

Welcome to a great forum. There are many generous and knowledgable folks here, but if you've been reading much, I imagine you have already discovered that.
Not only will questions you ask help yourself, it will help others as well. So, don't be shy about asking. I've asked a lot and have always gotten good answers.

Welcome and good luck as you approach your target date!! This is a great forum with lots of helpful folks. You are in the middle of some busy times so take a deep breath and enjoy each moment. Full-timing is a wonderful lifestyle so we hope to see down the road!!!
We are in the midst of transitioning now (hope to be fulltiming in a couple of months). Blogging is a great way to record your transition. I've been writing since we took our first step by attending the Kerrville Rally this past October. It definitely accelerated our timeline. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We wish we could be there, but can't make it this time around.
I look forward to following your blog. Feel free to check ours out (link in our signature). Hopefully we'll meet up on the road someday.
Keep us informed on your progress towards full-timing.
If you have questions, be sure to ask because, as I'm sure you know by now, there are a great bunch of folks here just waiting to help.
Catch you at the Rally,
Jim

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place with a lot of great people. I have been a member for only a short while but have learned a lot from the memebers here.
My partner and I will become fulltimmers in December of this year and are soooo looking forward to the experience.
