Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
May you all have a joyful, magical and safe holiday season and may your coming year be filled with new adventures, new friends, and safe journeys!
I'll take a moment to express my gratitude for this site and all the folks here. As Dave and I venture down the path towards full-timing, it is so comforting and wonderful to have a place to learn, share, and, I hope, help others in their journey.
Not only do I appreciate all the technical support, but what I find unique and special about RV-Dreams is that it is also a place to share the emotional aspects of going full-time. That seems to be one aspect that is not touched on as deeply in other groups. While the lifestyle on the surface is exciting and fun, there are so many serious factors to consider such as finances and the literal giving up of one's current life to begin a new one.
Having done this once to begin our life together, Dave and I have already been through the release of material possessions. It remains somewhat a jolt to the system to consider/do this and live on a wing and a prayer. I do know from past experience that it is also very liberating to be free of excess baggage!
So thank you my RV-Dreams family for your support, your advice, your humor and your friendship!
Peace, strength, love and light, Betty

I would like to add my wishes for a Happy Christmas and Hannukah season to all the RV-Dreamers out there, and especially to all of you who have expressed support for me during the ordeal of the last year and a half.
To Howard and Linda, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas... I missed you by a week, having been in Jacksonville last week for Robyn's and my anniversary. I'll be down there again soon, so maybe we can hook up. Jacksonville/Elkton/Welaka aren't that far apart.
I would also like to extend special wishes to SGAD and Jo/Fred Wishnie for all that you are facing. May God bless and keep you, and may He take you under His healing wings....
To everyone else, may God bless and keep you, and may you always have the wind at your back - especially when towing
