Been there,be prepared for typical high pressure sales pitch.Have specifics in mind and don't let them get you off track. Ask questions and if the salesperson can't answer them ask for someone who knows something about what they are selling. If you take charge you will have a better experience.

I've been there several times with mixed results. More than once, I found that the salesman stayed "on script". If I asked him something outside his scripted answers (like when I asked about dual pane windows), he couldn't answer my questions & said I didn't need dual panes! So do your research & don't let the salesman talk you out of something that you want.
I think I've been to all the major RV dealers in the Denver area more than once in the past couple of years, and it seems like it's luck of the draw when it comes to the sales people. I've had some really knowledgeable salespeople, & others not so much. The thing I like about RV America in Loveland is that you can walk around on your own & look at the units by yourself if you want to, then get a salesperson when you want one. They also typically have quite a few different units to look at. I've been to some dealerships where the salesman follows you around and won't stop chattering about the great deal they can make for you today. Drives me nuts!

We bought our current vacation RV (24' motorhome) there and had a very good experience. As the others have said, they all do the typical sales pitch, but we went with our information in hand and found them to be reasonably easy to work with. We will work with them again in buying our 5er if they have the model that we want, once we decide what that is!

If you do go, I would recommend asking for Buzz. That's who we worked with and felt he was honest and fair. There's another set of RV Dreamers we met at the Rally in October who also worked with him and I think had a positive experience. If you do see him, tell him Connie and Tracy said hi!

From the responses in this thread and reviews online it seems that RV America is the best with customer service. I am headed out to Loveland tomorrow to look at a couple of RVs and I will be sure to look them over real close. Thanks for the advice.
