One of the things we have found as we researched is that it isn't necessarily a black or white kind of thing -- this life style. 

There are many shades of gray that can be achieved.

What we did was to push aside the current reality of where we are and really -- and I mean REALLY focused on our desired "day in the life" of this life style.

We listed the things that we felt were imperatives to the end result. 

You know the things we just couldn't do without.  The things that we love to do.

For example -- for me it was tournament bass fishing -- there is a shiny fully rigged Ranger Bass Boat that is still sitting here and will go with us or will be pre-positioned in areas that I like to fish.

I get tremendous joy out of fishing and won't give it up.  I just needed to change how I do it and maybe where.

To really get creative we had to give ourselves the problem first.  We had to clearly define the goals and then just let our minds work on the solution.

The problem was this -- how can we live this lifestyle but still be able to fish and have something to fish with?

So we simply said if we didn't have the problems we think we have in doing this what would it look like?

It was weird actually.  When we first started this there appeared no way that we could have what we wanted but as time went on we started to have ideas pop into our head that would allow us to hit the target.

We told some friends of what we wanted too.  We had some ideas -- some crazy at first suggested -- but then the more we thought about these -- seemingly crazy ideas -- the more we found out they weren't so crazy.

We were firmly mired in the present -- the way it had always been.  We just couldn't get out of the mud so to speak -- until -- we did what I wrote above.

Funny how the mind works -- give it a problem -- and some time -- open yourself up to just about any option -- and watch how answers start to pop up. 

Heck -- we figured if people could come up with ideas like the internet and the cell phone from nothing -- we could figure out how to create something too out of what our minds told us was nothing.

Welcome!  Sounds as though you have a plan and you are working it... it will come together...  You've already gotten some great advice.  Keep thinking, keep planning.  I tell everyone that I am in the "wishin'/hopin'/plannin'" phase.   Every thing I do to move us closer to our goal counts, no matter how small the act! 

There are some really great people on here with a ton of knowledge.  You can ask them anything!  Have a great day...
