Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have finally read from start to finish, Howard & Linda's journal. I felt I couldn't post until I knew the 'whole story'.
My partner, George, and I, hope to be full timing in 2012. Neither one of us have true RVng experience, though my parents had a truck & camper that I spent a lot of time in through my high school years. We both love to travel, however, and can't imagine a better way to do it.
Right now we both work, with George being able to retire with benefits in 2012. We are leaning towards buying a 38' motorhome, towing my 2009 Honda Fit. We have a few years to research!
Our first foray into this lifestyle will be going to the 2010 rally in South Carolina..can't wait!
Howard & Linda, we want to thank you for sharing your lives with all of us, and putting one more family on that never ending road to full timing..!

Welcome to the Family. I am still trying to get through the entire journal. I enjoy reading about their adventures and look forward to ours one day. We will also be going to the Rally. Look forward to meeting you there.

Thanks for all the welcomes. It took me a couple months to go through the whole journal up-to-date. I was trying to read a little from work, people were laughing at me that I had to read from the beginning..
More and more I think about this full-timing, I can't wait. We've gone to a few RV shows, an RV dealer near where I live, and researching it 'to death' on the internet..it will be good to go to the rally and talk to people who are living their dream !
