Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Even though we are a year or so away, there are some great deals around, i think i will make my move, going to check out the unit next weekend. If all goes well, i will pick it up in April from Texas----------Drive to the rally in S Carolina, then back up to NY---Pretty Excited, G

Update, the rig was originally in Colorado, the dealership got its loans called in by GE Capital in the middle of my negotiating. Another company came in Elite Motors in Oklahoma, and bought the whole lot up. Richard, the owner of Elite offered to honor the agreement i had with the original company. We flew out this weekend to Dallas, drove to OK, and saw the rig for the first time------IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, i got my wife behind the wheel for a test drive, she was a bit nervous, but did fine. This rig definately has the IT factor for us. we are GOING FOR IT. G

That rig is something else. I know many will be jealous of you. With that big engine it will fly over those mountains.
Thanks, i really spent countless hours researching and chatting with many different people. Like everything in life there are advantages, and disadvantages to the rig we chose, all in all i liked the dependability, the power, and the serviceability of the super C----we will be carrying a smart car in the garage, soo even at 45ft, thats all we have to deal with. Additionally these engines can really put the miles on, and the thing purred at 70. G. O YEA, and we like the way it LOOKS...
Dang GENECOP. how would you feel about adopting me? I wouldn't be in the way too much. I am sure I could learn to love that rig. I would even be willing to drive part time. Think about it, huh?

I have to clear the adoption with my wife, and our cats. G
I see you're getting the rig you were contemplating earlier. NICE! Isn't it a great feeling when you focus in on something particular and POOF, it appears!

Oh, by the way, if 53 MERC does not pass muster with your wife, put me down as a strong backup. I have never been adopted, and am confident I would be a great choice!

Rig update, it is in Illinois at the Silver Crown Factory, they had a few service items to deal with, and we added a few options, i will probably pick it up in march or just before the rally in April. Gene
