Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are Ken & Pam and we live in Sioux Falls, SD. We have been camping for many years going from tenting (10 yrs) to a tent trailer (4 yrs) to our first travel trailer (7 yrs) to our current longer and more comfortable travel trailer (1 yr). We both really enjoy being in the outdoors and are looking forward to extended camping trips starting next year. Complete retirement will hopefully arrive within the next year to two. I enjoy reading and learning about all aspects of RVing and am more than willing to share what we have learned when the opportunity presents itself.

Welcome to the forum, Ken and Pam. Glad to have you on board. There's a friendly bunch of RVers here that are more than willing to help you with any questions you may have.
Take care,
Jim

One thing about new folks coming on board is all the information they have about the area they are from. We have many folks from many areas and it is so nice to have their knowledge on the forum. We hope to be going to SD next summer and could use some first hand information on where and where not to stay in that area. Glad to have you here with us and hope that you will join in the conversation here often.
Welcome to the RV Dreams forum!!! We agree with Speedhitch, it is nice to have folks add to the wealth of knowledge on this forum. We look forward to hearing more from you guys.
With your experience in tents, pop up and a travel trailer, I am sure you have learned much that others of us can use. Please do jump in and comment on some questions. As we all know, there is no right or wrong way to RV, just various forms of equipment.
Welcome!
