Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
It's a Chariot RV, made by Chariot Coach in Indiana, with an Allyson automatic tranny. Purchased new, it listed at $137,800.00. It has about 38,000 miles on it, and is still under warranty. Set up for 5th wheel, pintle hook, or regular ball hook - willing to sell those too.
It's listed as black, but it has that "illusion" paint that makes it appear different colors depending on the light, angle, etc. Beautiful truck, and in excellent shape when he brought it down to his lot in February.
Interior has luxury package - heated leather seats, folddown rear seat, heating/cooling cup holders, XM radio, Nav system, locking safe in center console, DVD system with headsets (never used)...might be more, but I'd have to ask hubby to list them.
Truck is still for sale, and I have updated the link to our pictures since the dealer is no longer involved. Price is still $75K firm, and fifth wheel hitch is included. Title is clear and "in hand", there is still 3 years left on the transferable warranty, and the truck has never been in an accident. In the interest of "full disclosure".....
1) It's in VERY good to excellent condition - it was a "work" truck (and apparently the dealership loaned it to someone once or twice) so there are a few scratches in the paint. We're trying to obtain touch-up paint from the manufacturer.
2) There is a small (about 2-3") surface tear in the back seat from the dealership - it doesn't go completely through the leather, but hubby is getting estimates to have it reupholstered anyway.
3) A rock ding chipped the windshield on the way to the dealership - the windshield has been replaced.
4) We have been informed by a previous potential buyer that there are special cups to be used in the heated/cooled cupholders - we never received them with the truck, and weren't aware that they existed, so obviously they won't be included with the truck.
This would be an excellent truck for hauling rv's, toyhaulers, boats, horse trailers, etc.
