Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello All

I just found this video while I sit here in my sticks n bricks dreaming....

I thought this short video of a fulltimer in Alaska was worth passing on to you.

Thanks, that brought back memories. We spent almost a month last summer on the Homer Spit. Quite a place.

If that made you want to fulltime, think of it in a real home on wheels. smile.gif

I agree completely Fred.  The converted van would be way to small and primitive for us but nevertheless their means to fulltime and doing it the way they are makes it possible for anyone.  A fifth wheel or motorhome would be more my style.  I did like the way he thought about things like driving back and forth to work and getting rid of things that one doesn't need.
I hope some other people take time to watch it.  There are several other short videos on that website too.
Dixie

Dixie - loved it short and to the point, hit a home run, almost makes it sound too easy!

He says it all.  Great video!!  If I could only talk my son into being homeschooled.  He is an only child so I hate to have him leave his friends now with 3 years left.
