Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
This is one of those moments you think will never come!! We have been on and off the market for about 3 years and last night we got a contract on our house. In came in at our asking price with us paying closing (which is pretty common). Now we just have to get through the inspection and appraisal. Its never over till the fat lady sings but this is as close as we have been, at a good price, in years. Our realtor feels very good about things going smoothly (he has sold this buyer houses etc. before so he knows him well) but in this market you never know so please say a prayer for us and send "happy thoughts" our way. If things go well, we should close on August 14th and move out of the house by August 18th. It will be a very long month!!
The RV Dreams family has been very important to us and we wanted to share our news with you all. Now we wait!! At least we are getting good at that, LOL.
Congratulations on selecting the right Realtor. H/she knew where to set the price. And everything should fall into place. Our house closes on July 16, so we know just how exciting this all is.
Good luck to you. And we hope to meet you around the campfire one evening. Smores???
