Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Got an IM today from realovekk. Obviously not an RVer. I have let this person know that this forum is for RVing and to take his or her requests elsewhere.

It would seem that activeboard has not plugged the hole...hopefully somebody has notified them of this vulnerability in their software??

Got one also. Just deleted it.Was obviously not from anyone on the forum.For as active as this site is it is a extremely rare ocurrance.

Just a FYI I also got spammed from someone who sent me an e-mail that said it was from Escapees Admin. Had a link in it. Deleted it also.

I have deleted and banned that user "realovekk".  Hopefully, that will take care of the problem.

However, some members have received emails from from "livnalove".  That is not a member on this Forum and I am working with the Forum software to see what we can do about it.  I apologize for the problem.

You might want to check with the Escapee forum admins. They just had a similar spamming yesterday also.

Ditto for us;  got a PM on Escapees, marked it as SPAM (there's a black-list option you can set in your profile);  it didn't work when I typed the reason for blocking the source, so re-did the "block" without a reason and it added it to my black-list;  then I went into the edit-mode on the item to include the reason.)
