Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

San Antonio Campgrounds - July 09

Some friends of ours, that only get to 'vacation' travel, plan to go to the San Antonio area in July.  Can anyone recommend a good, convenient, reasonably priced, campground in the area.

They are a couple with 2 kids, girl 12 and boy 10, so suggestions of activities would be helpful too.

thanks

Blazing Star RV Resort! http://www.blazingstarrv.com/

We lived there off and on for 6 months and loved it!

Just minutes to Seaworld and 20 minutes or so to downtown.

If you are interested in Blazing Star also check Admiralty RV a few blocks away. Admiralty is closer to Sea World and the bus. Depending on the size of your rig I think Admiralty is easier to get in to. As I recal the sites at Blazing Star have quite an incline when entering and exiting most sites. Either would be a good choice and I think each is about the same price.

Our friends will be pulling a bumper trailer with a crew cab Dodge PU.  Because of the kids a pool is really important as is picnic table, etc.

Thanks for the help so far.
