Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hoping To Hit The Road Mid 09

Hi gang,

I'm a new member and just wanted to introduce myself. I've been keeping up with the site and forum amongst other (Escapees etc.) for quite some time and I am very excited about hopefully hitting the road as a solo full-timer in mid 09. Who knows, hopefully I'll meet that someone special who wants to hit the road with me. I've been carefully planning for about 2 years and I'm now in the process of looking for a used rig to purchase. My job as a life insurance agent allows me to work out of my RV as all of my business is generated online. If I'm required to meet people in person, I'll basically have the office on wheels. After conservatively calculating my production and time, I can comfortably work no more than 2 days a week and generate more than enough to cover my expenses and start to discover all of the exciting places throughout the country I've never been the rest of the time.I'm also excited about meeting new people. One of my hobbies is a novice rockhound (gem mines and areas to hunt for precious treasures around the country. Have you ever watched Kirstin Gums show-Treasure Hunters on the Discovery Channel) as well as being an avid fisherman. I've also been playing tournament poker online for over 5 years and I'm looking forward to pulling into Vegas for a few weeks and playing in some tourneys I've been wanting to play in for awhile now. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I'm looking forward to meeting you all on the road. I'll try and post some pics soon.

Tony

Welcome Aboard Tony !! My plan is to be a fulltimer by next Fall. Also looking for a good, used Class C and hopefully will be purchasing in the Spring.
