Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Gina and I, first and foremost want to wish the whole RV-Dream’s family a Very Happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for all the men and women who had dreams and were willing to pursue those dreams in creating this country we call America. Whether you are with family, friends or just enjoying special times together as a couple please reflect back on the history of the past 516 years since Columbus arrived here. But, more specifically the last 232 years since our Declaration of Independence was signed. Whether we agree with all the individuals who just got elected or not, we as Americans have so much to be thankful for. We are able to enjoy what this country has because of those individuals who pursued their dreams to the extent of risking their life and many did lose their life because they believed that people should be free and have freedoms that only exist here. We take for granted so many things that we (Americans) just consider normal but for the rest of the world they will never be able to experience or comprehend the freedoms we have here. The main theme here is this country was founded because people had dreams and we as its citizens still have dreams and the ability to pursue those dreams. I could go on but my point is we are all so blessed here America and Gina and I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the RV-Dreams family. So with that, we are very thankful for all of the RV-Dreams family and especially Howard & Linda for giving birth to this family. We feel blessed that our paths have crossed with so many of you all and look forward to them crossing again in the future.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
Rollie & Gina

I would also like to add my wish for a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all!! As Rollie & Gina stated, as Americans we have a great deal to be thankful for.
I hope you would all take a moment or two to think some kind thoughts for our soldiers who can't be with their families on this holiday. We have ten's of thousands of them fighting in two wars and they have been there a long time. They are doing this because we as American citizens asked them to go. So I hope we don't forget that they are one of the reasons that we have a great deal to be thankful for.
Jim

Many times I have been thankful that my ancestors came to this country. It has been a blessing to have been born in what is probably the greatest country on earth.
I have been blessed in so many ways that I could probably spend all day enumerating them. Suffice it to say that God, family, friends and good health are among the greatest ones.
Since this is also the month that contains Veteran's Day, let me take this opportunity to offer my thanks to any and all veterans and current military personnel that are out there. Thank you for your service to our great country and to freedom.
God willing, our house will sell and Jo and I can begin full-timing in some form of RV. Then, once we retire and hit the road we can then meet some of the "friends" we have online that have the same dream or are already experiencing that dream of fulltiming.
God bless you all with health and happiness.

Life may not be the the Party we hoped for, but while we're here we should Dance!
Rollie said it so well. And in addition we are so thankful for all you RV-Dreamers out there. We can't put into words how much you have enriched our lives!!
Happy thanksgiving to you all from Tennessee! The first leg of my journey went very well from Michigan down to Athens, TN. The E350 V10 pulled the 27 footer like a champ. I got 9.5 mpg on the button. Have had a great day enjoying two meals, one with family and then one with friends. Met some really nice folks here at Overniter RV park and have so much to be grateful for tonight! Thanks all!
