Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Good Day,
I am new to RV Dreams.  My wife and I just purchased a new 5th Wheel (2008 Everest).  This is our third trailer.  They seem to get bigger every time.  We started with a
23ft hybrid trailer (cross between a pop out and conventional trailer).  When we started camping we started  with 2 boys and my wife and I.  Now we are down to 1 boy and 3 small dogs.  One child is off to school  and the other will follow in the next couple of years.  Odd how the family gets smaller but the rig gets bigger.

I would say we are weekend warriors at this point in our RV life style.  We enjoy they 3 day weekends and short trips.  We look forward to a once a year week long trip to further destinations.  We plan to be full timers at some point in our life.  If the economy keeps up they way it is this may happen sooner than later.

We are based out of the SF Bay Area in California.  Our hidden gem is Half Moon Bay State Beach.  There are no hook ups but its a great get away for the weekend.  Many of the camp sites are 25 yards from the water.

If you ever get a chance to go there its a great place to go.  We try to go at least once a month.

If you're thinking about going Full-timing, or even part-timing, this is the forum for you. The people here are great, and will be glad to answer any questions you may have about the life-style.

Hope to see you down the road one of these day. smile
