Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Best small compressor to bring along?

I imagine there must be a few decent little 12V and/or 110V compressors out there that won't burn up after a couple of tire fills...
My only compressor is a rather largesh contractors unit with wheels on one end and a 50 foot hose. Pulls 10 amps 110V when first turning over. Great for blowing texture on the walls of my stick and brick drywall or what have you but not really smart for traveling I would think.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks all.

Hi David,

There is a long thread on air compressors on this Forum located Here.

There are several suggestions and this is a very common issue.  There doesn't seem to be anything out there that is absolutely ideal for RVers.

So if you find the perfect RV compressor, let us all know.  smile

Howard,

Your link (titled "Here") takes me to this web site:

http://www.activeboard.com/index.spark?forumID=91511&p=3&topicID=8127409

Was that your intent? It doesn't seem useful (to me) in locating the indicated thread. What am I missing?

Ron

If you change it from this:
http://www.activeboard.com/index.spark?forumID=91511&p=3&topicID=8127409

to this:
http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=91511&p=3&topicID=8127409

(change "index" to "forum" you will get to the appropriate thread.
