Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're starting to get a little concerned. It's not like Howard to go that long without a post.
Of course maybe he's just working up to his rant.
Jim

Jim01 was right! I decided if I didn't get an update this morning I'd call VA Poma Ranch and see if I could find out if everything is OK.
I had the pleasure of talking with Linda for a few minutes and she assured me everything was fine and that Howard wanted to finish up with his 'rant' before he got back to posting daily updates.
So judging from the time it has been since we last heard from Howard, I anticipate the next post is going to be a dosey!
So - all is well and we wait in anticipation...

Thank you for calling and checking! I was beginning to worry too. I don't post much but read this forum and Howards blog every day. I'm sure you have helped a lot of people out there wondering.
That was the best Rant I have read in some time. I have to agree with Howard, however, I don't see many people doing much about it... the cabin pressure is going down and we have all gone to sleep and the ground is coming up fast. Many folks years ago warned us about FMa and FMac...then like now we were all asleep and did nothing. I'm getting out of this rat race and will start promoting fulltiming life style for those that can shake the credit crunch. I just hope this is a wake up call for those still in that race.
Howard, thank you so much for the whole big explanation about our government and how it works. (or doesn't) I really needed that lesson. So much I had forgotten. I must admit that I have been one of those that has been way too concerned about daily living and not as much what our government was doing. I really needed that wake up call Brenda

I think you've "hit the nail on the head" with your journal entry. Linda and I both read it, and agree with almost everything you said.
I hope it wakes some people up.
If you don't mind, I'd like to print it, and show it to a few people I know.
