Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hi from soon to be frozen Northern Minnesota

I'll confess, I've been a lurker here for about a year, I found it while lookin' for recipes, most of which are very good and simple. My wife Suzanne and I Hope to be fulltiming in the next 1-2yrs, depending on family issues, aging parents, needy (but grown) kids and now 2 grandboys. We have owned 5 motorhomes in the past 17yrs. and currently own a 1999 Country Coach Allure, which we believe will be our rolling condo someday as these things are Built to Last (IMHO). I am still working at 51 with a power company (30yrs.) but I think we can make it if I retire and do some workamping or caretaking. We still own a home in northern mn. with a 40x60 MH garage (that I will miss) but will be selling to aid finances. I'm very tired of the brutal winters and am not looking forward to the coming one. I was born and raised in Arkansas (Airforce brat) and moved around a lot while growing up, which has given me what Suzanne and my mom describe as "Gypsy Blood". Suzanne has lived in the same area her whole life, but is a sport and enjoys the traveling we have done so I think she'll adapt well. OK that's my story, Thank You all for the great forum!! I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of it!

Welcome, Keven and Suzanne!

Jim is usually the first to welcome one and all, but I guess he has gone to a Saturday football game or is playing hooky golf.  Therefore, let me be the first to welcome your shedding the "lurker garments" and letting us get to meet you in person.

Obviously you like what you have seen and are officially one of us now!

OK, Jim, you do the official honors!

Charles

I'm here, ROZ!! We've been checking out Arches National Park in Utah today.

Ken and Suzanne, Welcome to the forum.

Glad you stopped lurking and decided to join the party. As you know, this is a great forum with lots of friendly people who are willing to help in any way they can.

So, jump right in with your questions or comments. Maybe we'll see you on the road soon.

Brrrrr!!! MN in winter!!!!

Jim
