Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

One of my dreams is to write the great american novel....well actually not that grandiose of novel, but at least get a novel published along with some short stories.

I guess you can say I'm a wannabe writer.

Here's where you come in.   I recently published two short articles in the RV-Dreams Lifestyles Magazine.   Please take a few minutes to read the stories and provide a review, let me know what you think.

Here's the link to Howard & Linda's RV-Dreams Lifestyles website:

Do I have the "write" stuff ?

Thanks in advance for your help.... it will be appreciated.

Hi Bear
, I thought the stories were very informative and well written, my only question is this the format or genre that you have a passion for, or do you plan to just write about various subjects? Gummy smile

Thanks for the review.

I've always considered myself a jack of all trades master of some sort of guy. So I have lots of interests.

For some reason the Owens Valley/ Hwy 395 corridor area of California has always held a fascination for me.  It's such a remote area and yet is full of history and natural wonders.

I plan to take the stories about the salt tram, Owens lake, Cerro Gordo mine and create a murder mystery centered around the building of the tram system and a plane crash on the dry lake.

I do have a Sci-Fi novel in the works and like to read fictional books with a non-fiction feel, like books by Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz and even Stephen King.  These guys tend to throw a lot of local history into their stories so the books read more like actual events.

I like this genre of fiction, so I plan to start with these types of books/stories and see where it leads me.  I also plan to write short stories and articles about RV related technical information, travel & destinations.

Thanks again for the feedback.
