Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Yesterday in Howard's Journal, he stated that there were now 20 RV sites available for the RV Dreams Rally in Branson. I know that there are some of you that are trying to decide whether to come or not. Come on! Sign up and lets all get together and meet one another.
The people on this forum are really great and Linda & I are looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible, so don't wait any longer. Fuel prices are high, but really not that bad. Just boon-dock a couple of times on the way to the Rally and you'll save enough to pay for the increased fuel cost.
We're planning on having a great time, so why not come and join in on the fun!
Jim and Linda

Your right Jim, we all will have sooooo much fun meeting each other and then we will look forward to the next rally just to get back together. Chatting with all these fine folks has already got Sherri and I excited about getting together with everyone...telling stories....sharing adventures and places to go. If you miss out on this one your really missing out. Thanks Jim for the boondocking idea. Your right a couple of nights of parking at Wal-Mart etc would make up the increased cost in fuel!!! Share that with everyone!!!
Not to mention we're going to have some terrific food at the potluck, great entertainment - including stories about Speedhitch! - and learning opportunities!
I figured it is 1,165 miles each way. I am giving us a few more miles while out there for sightseeing for a total of 2,500 miles. Looking at about 8.5 MPG at $4.00 a gallon for diesel. Hey that gives us a total of $24.00 left from the $1,200 Govt "Gift" we are expecting in May. I guess we might be able to afford one Cracker Barrel meal (not including tip) on the way.
Roz (DW) and I are looking forward to the Rally and meeting you folks. We sent in our fee this morning, as a matter of fact. This one is out of the theme of this, but, PHYLLEN, I see you have an F-250....How do you like it? I am in the process of ordering one in the next couple of weeks. Thanks.
We love our F250. Hubby always has to have a Ford. We are hoping to pick up some MPG when we get the chip installed. Also told the more miles the better with a diesel and mileage will improve. Sure, we finally buy a diesel and look what happened to the cost of fuel.
We have no problem at all towing our CC. Our unit has the towing package which gives us more towing capacity. Also had special springs installed making the bed not sink as much when the fiver is hooked up.
