Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

So New and So much to learn :)

Hello to Everyone,

This is such a fun forum.  Looking forward to being part of it.  To make a long story short, we are Bob and Sue, married and living in Florida for 36 years. Two children, 33 and 27 yrs. old.  Bob just retired last month from the Boca Raton, Fl. Fire Dept. and I am taking a very long pause in my registered nursing profession, which I dearly love.
We have been dreaming of full-time RVing and traveling since we first met in high school in 1969. And finally, with house sold, no grand-babies on the way and parents healthy, we are taking the plunge.
Just bought 2007 Jeep Rubicon, and a 2006 Tiffin Phaeton 40'.  Yesterday was "Launch" day and we are now officially full-timers.  The long term goal is Alaska and everything we can see and do along the way.....Hope to meet some of you out there.  Thanks for such a friendly site.
Sue

Bob and Sue,

Welcome to the Full-timing lifestyle, it's great!

Sounds like you have a great MH and toad. Hope you can make it up to Alaska some day. It's a really great trip.

We'll keep an eye out for you on the road.smile

Jim
