Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Pickup bed covers ?

We are considering a aluminum roll top cover for our truck.

Does anyone have or use something like this. We considered having a tarp like H&L's made but, we will be carrying our two honda generators in it, and would like a little more security when not hitched up.

We are looking at this one here

That looks like a great cover. We put a Roll n Lock on our truck. It works well. There weren't any other kinds on the market at the time. If the one you are looking at had been available I might have gone that way. It is nice that it doesn't have the box in front to roll into. On our truck we have to contend with that box. It stopped us from having a tool box in the front. I put a Highway Products fifth wheel tool box in behind the hitch. It is low enough that the 5er clears it. I also like the price of the one you are looking at. If it keeps out the weather and is fairly secure I would go for it. If a thief wants to get into your truck, nothing will keep him out. Good luck and let us know what you end up with and how you like it.

Ray
