Yes, you would think so, but it doesn't surprise me anymore.  I recall when you were able to buy a television with an antenna, and now you have to buy black ink cartridges and the usb cable if you buy a new printer!  Or when the rv manufactures include a "mandatory option" and just like most cameras don't come with a carrying case anymore. Things are nothing like the good-ole-days  when you bought something that was it.  Good Luck getting the manual.
