Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Wow, I just had to jump in and say "hello" to you all! Allow me to introduce myself and my husband, we are Bill and Debbie Goode. My husband retired from Eli Lilly a little over a year ago and I retired from running my own business just a few weeks ago. We made the decision to full time last December while on vacation. We were having such a wonderful time, we just didn't want it to end! We came home and started doing the research and well, we take delivery of our new fifth wheel Aug 22.
We are in the process of getting ready to sell the house---packing, sorting, selling, giving away---you know the drill. Can't wait to put it all behind us and get on the road!!
We will be traveling with our two fur-babies, Cosmo and Belle. I'll introduce them in the pet section.
We do have a Son, Sam. He is 24yrs old and still in school. He is looking forward to traveling with us during school breaks.
I guess that is about it for now, I look forward to sharing with you folks as our travels progress.
Debbie

Hello Debbie- Welcome to the "neighborhood" ! As you probably know, this site is a wealth of information and friendly folks. Many thanks to Howard and Linda for making this available to all of us.
My husband and I are also from Indiana - down south in Clark Co. We haven't made the decision to full time yet, but are considering it for the future. More likely, we will "part-time" in the nearer future. We are signed up for the RV-Dreams rally next summer tho. We currently have a travel trailer but have been looking at 5th wheels and hope to have up-graded by then.
Best of luck on the sorting and selling! And congratulations on making the decision.

Hello Debbie and Bill, from another Hoosier, down here in Evansville. As you will find this is a great site. And talk about knowledge, someone at this site can and will answer any question you may have, everyone is happy to share their thoughts on any RV related topic, and Howards pic's are always great. This site is quite a treat that H & L are so willing to share with us.

Hi Debbie and Bill, Welcome to the forum. Barb and I are also from Indiana (New Palestine) and plan to fulltime within the next two years. You will love this site as they are the most friendly and welcoming group we have found. Need answers to the many questions you will have, just ask and you'll get a reply within minutes. These folks love to share information. Hope to see you sometime down the road. Ken & Barb Pace
We're originally from the Midwest too. If you have questions, be sure to ask. Someone will give you an answer.
