Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are Roy and Lowell. After almost a year of research and following the adventures of many of you, we sold our house and belongings and went full time on April 18, 2007. We are newbies for sure, but will try to post a couple of times a week to keep friends and family updated. www.mytripjournal.com/Trailer_Trash_Turnpike
Welcome to life on the road. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We now have 14 months under our belt. A lot of crazy things can happen, especially to newbies, but the good times are 1,000 times better than never taking that leap.
Happy traveling, Jo

Hi Jo Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have followed yours and Fred's post for a long time. Lots of good advice from both of you. This forum and Howard and Linda's Journal have really helped us a lot towards making our decision to go. Hoping to run into some of you along the way. In fact we already ran into one couple who post here...Gary and Vicki..werewinginit. They were in the same RV park as us a week ago so we went down and got aquainted. It was a treat for us. Roy
