Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Is there a driver of a MDT in Ohio (preferrable in NE Ohio) or within a reasonable driving distance, that would like to share his/her experiences with a wannabe? I would love to see your MDT! I read everything I can find about MDT's but have never seen one up live and in person. It just seems like the "perfect" tow vehicle to me.

We love RVing with our MDT Freightliner. The old truck was a Dodge 3500 dually and that was nice but we upgraded the 5er and it would not handle the extra weight. The Freightliner Sportschassie is so much easier to drive and you do not even know the 5th wheel is back there. I have no problem taking the truck into town to do a little shopping. I think it turns better than the 3500. It is a lot easier to see down the road and the air ride makes it so comfortable.

Hubby needed me so I cut short my last post. Sorry, we do not live in Ohio. We are down the road a bit in Michigan just north of South Bend, IN. We average about 11 mpg pulling or bobtailing. The MDT stops a lot better than the 3500. I'm going to try and attach a picture but not sure if this will work.

Love that truck! Just what I'm looking for. I'm sold on the MDT as the way to go. Can't wait to show the wife your response. If you ever head through Canton, OH drop me a line - my wife & I would love to meet you and see your truck! Looks like a beauty! Safe traveling......Paul
