Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
The condo sold last night - Hooray!!!! Actually had a couple within the complex interested before we even called a realtor. No realtor fees, no new paint, no new carpet, etc. They have their own ideas in mind, so its cool. Now what? Gotta be out by June 1st, but oh yeh, we don't have an RV yet. SHOPPING !!!!
Congratulations for your "giant step closer". How very exciting! Shopping sounds like so much fun. We purchased the RV Consumer CD and I am very impressed with the information. There is soooo much information that will be invaluable in our search. We will be purchasing and selling the house in the next 12 months. I envy where you are now. Hope your condo sale goes smoothly. It will be fun to hear your progress.
Good luck! Shopping for an RV can be fun. We just got ours and we spent 2 years probing around all the shows and RV lots. I think that we made a good choice concidering all we have learned here at this site and being full timers for some time now. Keep us up-to-date. Hope to catch you down the road.
Update - Even Closer! Found the perfect RV we have been searching for. We close on the condo 5/14, take delivery on the DP 5/18. Garage sale at the daughter's house 5/26, out of condo by 6/1 and living in the RV fulltime. Only downside, I have to stay put and keep working until September That's OK I guesss, gives us some time to get acquainted with the rig before hitting the road
I sincerely wish you both the best. We have been fulltime rv'ing going for about 8 months now and learning all the time. Good luck with your new purchase too. southwestjudy & Bob & 2blackdogs
