Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Fulltime here we come.

Well we finally did it … He put money down on a Mobile Suites 36RS3 and on a 2003 Volvo 630 and then put the house up for sale. Can you believe… it sold in 6 days. What is the problem with this real-estate market??? We are so excited, even though we need to be out of the house 4 weeks before the MS is finished. But we have plenty to do. Jan is selling everything on craigslist.com, and a Yard sale next weekend.

Congrats! You are going to have the time of your lives. Savor every minute. Hope to see you down the road.

We started full timing April lst.  Having the time of our lives!  Was a little sad when we said "goodbye" to grandkids and family, but didn't last too long down the road.  We are in Colorado right now in snow storm, got about 12 in. last night, but snuggled in for couple days at nice campground, don't have to be anywhere and can take our time.  WHAT A CHANGE!. Have fun and make the most of it!!! biggrin biggrin

The motorhome was sold yesterday which puts us one step closer to becoming fulltimers.  While we liked our 2000 Monaco Knight, it just wasn't suitable for us living in it on a fulltime basis.  We had some fun with that motorhome over the last 2 years with long trips to Arizona and last summer to the midwest and southeast.

Our goal is to purchase a new 5th wheel trailer and a new truck to tow it.  However, before that can happen we have to sell our condo here in Naples, FL.  Right now our preference in 5th wheels is an Excel 33RKE being towed by a GMC 3500 Duramax DRW pickup.

Step one to our new life has been completed, now on to the next step of selling the condo!

Wish us luck!
