Running off tank or hooked up to water? How long did you let kitchen taps run? How long did you let bathroom tap run?

Sounds like the system needs a good flush... may have water in the kitchen lines that has gone bad due to heat or bacteria contamination but didn't get into the bathroom lines.
Longer run to kitchen, equal or lower level than tank.
Shorter run to bathroom, above the level of the tank ???
Just some thoughts...

I've had the same problem. Found that the smell was actually coming from the sink drain as I ran water into the drain. Try taking a glass of water away from the sink and see if the smell is really coming from the water in the glass.
My fix was a little lemon juice in each side of the sink. Vinger works as well.
Regards

So does baking soda. Yes, the grey tank (and drains) can actually smell worse than the black tank.

I took apart the kitchen drains and found the drain to the second sink in the kitchen did not have enough slope and the grease build had gone rancid. Cleaned the drains and smell was gone.

A boiling pot of water (pasta cooking) is one of the best things you can do for your kitchen drains every week or so.

Barb's suggestion re: boiling water every week or so is good advice ... also good for the bathroom drains (shower, sink).

pour 1/2 box baking soda followed by 2 cups vinegar. Let it boil, and set for several minutes, then rinse with very hot water.
